Well, it is almost Mothers Day! We dont have any big plans.....Phil will probably cook something yummy (as usual)! On Saturday we are going to a company picnic with the Town of Holly Springs. It is being held at Harris Lake Park. It is a nice park right on the Lake. Cara and Pat and the kids will come with us and Tom and Debbi and i imagine even Casey, Conrad and Angel (thier little one). Tom works for the town as well. Hopefully it will be a nice day for it. But whatever the case, it will be a little social time. Maureen offered to keep Mom this weekend. Jim is going up to surprise his mom for mothers day. So Maureen, Lex, Mom and Lexas girlfriend will watch movies and have some girl time!

We are anxiously waiting for some storms to come in to our state sometime this afternoon, evening. Hopefully, it will hold off until I can get home from taking Brooklyn for her vet visit at 5pm. She is due for shots...ugh! Last time she got them she could hardly walk. I hate taking her for them. But I know they are good for them. (or so i am told!)

Here are some new pics of Brooklyn in her new bed and new jammies!! She is growing so fast....she is really fun for us, even when she piddles when excited to see you! (Thank goodness for laminate flooring!) The picture of her on Phils lap was after he gave her a belly rub! They both fell right to sleep! We love her to pieces!!

We celebrated Mom's 77th, Alexa's 13th, Donald's 15th and Brandon's 15th birthdays all together here at our house with family and some friends. We had a very nice day, with bar-b-que and all! Aaron Walks! Finally!

Here is a little video for you all to enjoy...Aaron has finally started taking steps on his own. He still would rather hold on to something, anything, but i forced him to do it on his own here so i could video for you all....that is him yelling at me for it!! I love when babies start walking....they look so cute! He is quite the character. Cara and Pat will have their hands full with this one!!

Lets try this again!

Well, i decided either to do something with this thing or shut it down! For all that dont know, Phil and I have gotten another yorkie pup! Her name is Brooklyn and she is a doll! We got her on Good Friday so needless to say she wore her first dress on Easter Sunday!! I even managed to put a tiny bow in her hair! I think i have lost it! Phil would testify to that!!! Well, what the heck, all my kids are grown and gone so i might as well go for it is what i keep telling myself! Anyway, it has been great. A lot of work, as puppies are, but worth every moment! She and Oliver are best buds, and that warms my heart! It will be fun to watch them grow together.
